“Crossing The Bridge” Documentary

Last year I was hired by Streets Ahead to produce a documentary on the theme of cultural cohesion in one under-developed area of Bradford, West Yorkshire. After almost a year of prep, production will finally begin.

The documentary will aim to convey the thoughts of young people in the area regarding the cultural divide between the South Asian and white communities that both live in the same place.

A selected group of young people in the area will give their honest thoughts about cultural and racial issues on camera as well as taking part in the actual production itself, gaining basic skills in camera, sound, lighting and interview techniques.

The project should be completed by March 2010.
